Patients

Do you need home oxygen management?  Whether or not you qualify for the provincial government Home Oxygen program, our clinical team will work with you and your doctor to arrange for and supply all the necessary equipment and gases you need to ensure you are getting the optimum respiratory home-care possible.

Does your physician suspect you have sleep apnea?  The Medigas clinical team also has the expertise and experience to assess and manage your sleep apnea and other sleep disorders.

Health Care Providers

Medigas has been providing respiratory management solutions for over 30 years to hospitals, medical, dental and veterinary clinics – any facility that needs medical gas systems.  As a health care provider your needs are varied and Medigas has the know-how to find the right solutions for you.

Are you setting up a brand new facility and need new medical gas delivery systems?  Are you retrofitting existing infrastructure?  Do you need to install emergency oxygen, or nitrous oxide delivery systems in your clinic?  Medigas has up-to-date working knowledge of industry-specific guidelines for Canadian health care systems including the Canadian Dental Association, advanced cardiac life support and neonatal advanced life support.  We will consult with your engineering and maintenance departments to design and install your new system and make sure it’s operating properly and meets industry requirements.

Custom & Unique Systems

Do you have a unique medical gas system requirement?  Medigas can help here as well.  For example, as air ambulance flights have increased in Manitoba, the need for airplane-friendly, emergency oxygen supply systems has become a necessity.  In a setting where space is at a premium, designing a rail system to provide more working room is of paramount importance.  With this as the challenge, Medigas developed and installed a unique rail system in the air ambulances to support and organize monitors and oxygen/suction equipment and maximize the working environment for the attendants.

Travel Services

If you presently require supplemental oxygen support you may feel like it’s a tether keeping you from doing the things that you love.  Going on vacation, or travelling to that special occasion may seem like an insurmountable hurdle, but it isn’t, thanks to the Medigas Manitoba Travel Service.

If you’re able to travel, Medigas will arrange for supplemental oxygen support at your destination with local medical gas providers.  We can arrange:

• Information on Airline regulations; i.e., how many cylinders may be
  taken on the aircraft and which Airline requires you to purchase their
  oxygen;
• Delivery of cylinders to the airport;
• Delivery of oxygen equipment to your destination.

It is our goal to make sure you get the support and equipment you need, and portability you want.  The Medigas Manitoba Travel Service is free of charge to our clients; it’s just one more of those things that we do for our clientele and one more thing that sets us apart from our competitors.
